This part of Florence is renown for its artisans and their products and has amore bohemian and artsy feel that the rest of Florence. The main markets occur in the Piazza on the second and third Sundays of the month, however a smaller market is found every day selling some fruit and vegetables and clothing.

The Sunday Antique market fills the flagstones in the piazza with collectibles and new hand-made items from artisans from all over Tuscany and often further afield. These include wood carvings, furniture, hand-made clothing and knitting items. The variety of food stalls on these Sundays make this worth the trip for its own sake.
